Job description

Hour House seeks to hire Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) for our substance use disorder (SUD) detoxification unit. Full-Time or Part-Time positions are available.

Responsibilities

1. Provide medical screening/triage and simple first aid.
2. Consult with the Medical Director.
3. Manage admissions and conduct medical screening and assessment.
4. Interact and work with individuals in our residential care services.
5. Work in a medically monitored detoxification program and residential facility in Charleston, IL.

Qualifications

1. Current Illinois license required as an EMT.
2. Ability to pass all background checks.
3. Valid driver’s license.
4. 12-hour work shifts available, if requested.
