Job summary

Aquila Medical Services seeks dedicated EMTs to deliver on-site emergency medical care, assess patients, and transport them to facilities. You will operate medical equipment and coordinate with paramedics, nurses, and first responders in high-pressure environments.

Ideal candidates have EMT certification and strong knowledge of emergency procedures, patient care, and trauma care. Rotating shifts, driving emergency vehicles, and background checks are expected components of the role.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Current EMT certification (State and/or NREMT).
• Advanced EMT or Paramedic certification is a plus.
• Prior EMT experience in emergency or pre-hospital setting preferred.
• New grads with required certifications are welcome.

Responsibilities

Requirements

Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) - Job Requirements

Education & Certification:

High school diploma or GED.

Current EMT certification (State and/or National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians - NREMT).

Advanced EMT (AEMT) or Paramedic certification is a plus.

Experience:

Prior experience as an EMT in an emergency medical or pre-hospital setting is preferred.

New graduates with required certifications are encouraged to apply.

Strong knowledge of emergency medical procedures, first aid, and trauma care .

Ability to assess patient conditions and determine appropriate medical intervention.

Proficiency in using medical equipment such as defibrillators, oxygen tanks, and stretchers.

Effective communication and teamwork skills for working alongside paramedics, nurses, and first responders.

Ability to remain calm and focused under pressure in high-stress situations.

Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.

Physical fitness to lift patients, move equipment, and work in challenging environments.

Responsibilities:

Operate and maintain emergency vehicles and medical equipment .

Adhere to all medical protocols, safety regulations, and ethical standards .

Other Requirements:

Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (if operating emergency vehicles).

Willingness to work rotating shifts , including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Ability to pass a background check and drug screening .
