Job summary

Turn Key Health is seeking an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) to join our Bentonville, AR team at the Benton County Jail. This FT night position features 12-hour shifts from 7P-7A and rotating weekends.

The EMT conducts medical screening during booking, monitors patient status, records vital signs, and reports changes to the nurse. Under physician supervision, you will follow policies and state/federal regulations, maintain infection control with Universal Precautions, and collaborate with

• Must hold EMT certification per state regulations.
• Current CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Under the supervision of the physician, performs medical screening during the booking process.
• Monitors patients and reports changes in condition or vital signs.
• Completes the Intake Screening and records symptoms and conditions.
• Communicates to patients, staff and others in an accurate manner and seeks nurse clarification when indicated.
• Works collaboratively with health care and correctional staff to coordinate patient care.
