TK Health is seeking an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) / ER Technician for a full-time role at Pulaski County Jail in Little Rock, AR. The position features 12-hour night shifts, weekend rotations, and patient-care responsibilities under physician supervision.

The ideal candidate holds state EMT certification and current CPR certification, with a commitment to delivering high-quality care in a correctional setting and collaborating with nursing staff and correctional teams.

Qualifications

• Certification as an Emergency Medical Technician in accordance with state regulations
• Current CPR certification

Responsabilités

• Performs medical screening during booking under physician supervision
• Monitors patients and reports changes in condition or vital signs
• Performs vital signs
• Completes intake screening per policies and standards
• Infectious control practices and universal precautions
• Communicates with patients, staff, and nurses with accuracy
• Collaborates with healthcare team and correctional staff to coordinate care
• Performs other duties as assigned
