Job summary

North Memorial Health seeks an experienced Emergency Paramedic Supervisor to oversee ALS, BLS and Wheelchair crews and coordinate daily EMS operations. The role includes acting as a paramedic when required and ensuring accurate patient records and department metrics.

Candidates should have Paramedic training, a high school diploma, and ideally a Bachelor’s degree. Strong leadership, decision-making and communication skills are essential for delivering high-quality care.

Qualifications

• Knowledgeable of advanced medical practices, procedures, and equipment related to EMS and paramedic duties.
• Demonstrated ability to problem solve, make decisions, and manage conflicts in emergencies.
• Strong interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervises ALS, BLS and Wheelchair employees.
• Coordinates daily department operations.
• Assists in operation of other areas as appropriate.
• Functions as Emergency Paramedic when needed.
• Maintains patient charts and department statistics.
