Air Methods is seeking a Rotor Wing Pilot in Lockhart, Texas, to support EMS missions nationwide from the Lockhart base. The role covers aircraft operation, crew safety, and adherence to FAR/AIM/GOM guidelines while delivering mission-critical transport for patients and crews.

Qualifications

• IFR experience required.
• PIC time in category required.
• Night flight time required.
• Turbine time required.
• Actual instrument time required.
• ATP rating in category required.
• First or second class FAA medical certificate required.

Responsabilités

• Operates Air Methods aircraft safely and legally.
• Completes pre-flight checks and daily flight log sign-off.
• Exerts final authority over aircraft operations and safety.
• Familiarizes crew with medical interior and systems.
• Completes required documentation and records.
• Performs detailed flight planning with minimal notice.
• Participates in meetings, projects and outreach activities.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
