Job summary

State of Wyoming, Department of Health, seeks an EMS Regionalization Grants & Contract Specialist to manage federal grants, budget, and contract administration within the Rural Health Transformation Program. The role involves monitoring sub-grantees, drafting agreements, and ensuring compliance with federal/state rules.

The position is temporary, at-will, with limited benefits, and requires collaboration with internal and external partners across agencies.

Qualifications

• Experience with federal grant management and budgeting.
• Ability to write and review RFP/RFI/RFA documents.
• Knowledge of contracts and grant compliance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Writes, reviews, and scores RFPs/RFIs/RFAs.
• Compiles budgets and narratives for submission and approval.
• Drafts contracts and grant agreements per guidelines.
• Monitors contractors and subrecipients for deliverables.
• Participates in audits of grants/contracts.
• Keeps up to date with grant, contract, RFP/RFI/RFA, and purchasing rules.
• Implements program improvements.
• Prepares and submits grant reporting as requested.
• Conducts subrecipient monitoring activities.
• Provides technical assistance to contractors and subrecipients.
