Job summary

Contra Costa County Fire Protection District is seeking a Fire EMS Quality Improvement Coordinator to monitor EMS activities, analyze data, and develop recommendations to improve quality of service. The role includes creating curriculum for EMS training and conducting classroom education to ensure compliance with State and County standards.

The ideal candidate has extensive emergency medical care experience, strong analytical and reporting skills, and the ability to deliver effective trainings

Qualifications

• Two years of emergency medical care experience (or more)
• Experience delivering trainings and presentations
• Strong report writing and organizational skills
• Ability to analyze EMS data and identify improvement opportunities

Responsibilities

• Ensure QA/QI and training align with contracts
• Audit patient care reports and proper treatment utilization
• Collaborate with EMS stakeholders on trends and training needs
• Attend committee and training meetings to establish regional continuity
• Develop and deliver EMS curriculum
