Job summary

Veriipro is looking for a skilled professional to design, develop, and support Power Systems Application (PSA) solutions for Energy Management Systems (EMS) in Austin, Texas. Ideal candidates will have 5+ years of experience with EMS, specifically with GE e-terra AEMS / Reliance.

Responsibilities include collaborating with various utilities, troubleshooting mission-critical systems, and managing software patches and installations. Strong programming skills in C++, C, Java, and SQL are essential, along with a comprehensive understanding of the electric utility industry.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Energy Management Systems (EMS), preferably GE e-terra AEMS / Reliance (XA/21).
• Strong experience in GE AEMS Reliance design and development.
• Proficiency in C++, C, Java, SQL, shell scripting, and Oracle Database.
• Experience with Linux and Windows operating systems.
• Knowledge of electric utility industry and real-time/mission-critical systems.
• Hands-on experience with GitHub, ClearCase, system configuration, and patch installations.
• Experience applying fixes and upgrades on live customer systems.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and support Power Systems Application (PSA) solutions for EMS platforms.
• Work with Utilities, ISOs, and TSOs on functional requirements, integration, tuning, and deployment.
• Perform troubleshooting, issue resolution, and production support for mission-critical systems.
• Manage software patches, upgrades, and third-party installations (Oracle, NetApp, etc.).
• Collaborate with engineering and customer teams to resolve technical issues and improve system performance.
