Job summary

McLeod Health in Florence, SC is seeking an Emergency Services liaison with EMT/Paramedic certification and at least 3 years of related experience. The role focuses on marketing, clinical navigation, community engagement and hospital partnerships to improve service delivery.

Full-time position with standard weekday hours, occasional weekend events and on-call coverage as needed. Current EMT or Paramedic certification required.

Qualifications

• EMT or Paramedic certification or related healthcare training.
• At least 3 years total related work experience (EMS, Hospital Operations, Business development or Regulatory Knowledge).
• Current EMT or Paramedic Certification must be held.

• Provides a climate for staff in which they can seek out liaison for feedback, to voice concerns or receive information.


• Keeps administration informed of activities and problems.


• Assist with developing, implements and reviews an ongoing education plan for staff.

• Is able to develop and operationalize their communicated direction and the objectives of the immediate supervisor.


• Supports outreach efforts, service line growth initiatives and community engagement activities.

Full-time, 80 hours biweekly. Standard hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm. Occasional weekend and off-shift event participation may be required as needed.

Qualifications /Training

• EMT, Paramedic or other healthcare related certification/training


• At least 3 years total related work experience (EMS, Hospital Operations, Business development or Regulatory Knowledge)
