Job summary

Gwinnett Technical College seeks a part-time Laboratory Assistant for Emergency Management Services to support instruction and supervision in classroom and lab settings. The role reports to the Program Director and offers up to 19 hours per week with a pay rate of $15.60 per hour.

Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or GED and an active GA Paramedic License or NREMT Paramedic Certification.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Current GA Paramedic License or NREMT Paramedic Certification.
• EMS Instructor license (or higher) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Program Director in instructing, supervising, and evaluating students in classroom/lab settings.
• Complete annual training as assigned.
• Ensure safety and security requirements are met in the training area.
• Instruct students in safety rules for operating equipment and using tools.
• Maintain classrooms and work areas in proper condition and inventory.
