Job summary

Nicolet College invites applications for an EMS Program Administrator/Instructor to deliver lecture, lab, and clinical instruction across Rhinelander and outreach sites. The role includes accreditation oversight, practicum coordination, and program development to ensure high-quality EMS education.

The position requires a bachelor’s degree in a related field, Wisconsin paramedic licensure, CPR/ACLS, and instructional experience. Some evenings/weekends may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in public safety, public administration, health, education, or related field.
• Licensed at the Paramedic level in Wisconsin with current NREMT certification.
• Current health care provider CPR and ACLS certifications.
• Academic training/experience equivalent to EMS provider.
• Experience with instructional methodology.
• Professional EMS delivery experience.

Responsibilities

• Deliver instruction in EMS and related public safety areas across multiple campuses and locations.
• Develop and revise curricula; maintain courses in WIDS and LMS.
• Provide student support and regular interaction to promote engagement and success.
• Coordinate clinical placements and practicum experiences; supervise preceptors.
• Participate in accreditation reporting and program review processes.
• Engage with Advisory Committees and partner with schools and colleges.
