Job summary

Air Evac Lifeteam is seeking a Base Pilot Supervisor in Big Spring, TX to lead line pilots and ensure safe, efficient operations. You will partner with the Program Director to manage base performance and regulatory compliance.

The role requires extensive flight time, helicopter experience, and prior supervisory responsibilities, with a 7/7 schedule and 24-hour base housing provided. A strong aviation background and Rotorcraft certifications are essential.

Qualifications

• Total flight time at least 2000 hours.
• 1500 hours helicopter time and 1000 hours PIC.
• 500 hours turbine experience and night unaided or night aided hours.

Responsibilities

• Develops and coordinates pilot duty schedules with the Regional Director.
• Coordinates flight planning activities and mission resources.
• Conducts local area orientations for new hire pilots.
• Monitors base pilots’ daily logs and payroll submissions.
• Ensures aircraft operations comply with regulations and manuals.
• Preflight aircraft and document discrepancies with maintenance.
• Stays current on weather and forecast changes.
