Job summary

Global Medical Response in San Antonio, TX is seeking an experienced helicopter pilot to manage all operations for the company aircraft in accordance with FAR Part 135, the Air Evac EMS Operations Manual, and applicable state regulations. Located in San Antonio, this base-based, full-time role supports EMS transport operations and related duties.

Qualifications

• Current FAA Rotorcraft-Helicopter Commercial Certificate with instrument rating.
• Current FAA Second Class Medical Certificate.
• 2,000 Total flight hours; 1,500 Total helicopter hours; 1,000 PIC hours; 1,000 turbine hours.
• Minimum of 200 helicopter night flight hours; 50 hours actual weather in aircraft.

Responsibilities

• Maintains a schedule as set forth by the company; seven on seven off; 12-hour shifts.
• Ensures aircraft readiness for flight dispatches per manuals and company requirements.
• Accurately completes required paperwork (duty shift change forms, load manifests, duty/time sheets).
• Continues in educational betterment via computer, ground and flight training.
• Maintains professional conduct and participates in training/check-flights; adheres to safety policies.
