Qualifications

  • Emergency Vehicle Operator Certification or must obtain within 30 days of hire.
  • CPR Certification or must obtain within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine safety inspections and preventive maintenance on fleet vehicles.
  • Maintain stock levels in designated vehicles by ordering and stocking parts.
  • Communicate detailed information to supervisory staff.

Skills

Mechanical aptitude
Ability to read, write and use computer technology
Communication through e-mail and two-way radio

Education

High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
Graduated from an accredited automotive technical school or 2 year experience in a related field
