Job summary

Roane State Community College is seeking an EMS Faculty member for a 12-month tenure-track position to provide classroom, laboratory, and clinical instruction across basic, advanced, and paramedic EMS courses. The successful candidate will advise students, serve on college and program committees, participate in EMS Advisory Committee, and contribute to accreditation activities.

Qualifications

• Associate degree required.
• Currently licensed as TN paramedic with Paramedic Instructor Coordinator credential.
• Minimum 2 yrs pre-hospital experience.
• Current certification as CPR instructor.

Responsibilities

• Fulfill duties and responsibilities associated with a full-time tenure track faculty position (RSCC PA-24-01) including providing instruction (classroom, lab, and/or clinical) in various levels of EMS courses (basic, advanced, and/or paramedic) as assigned.
• Serve on assigned college and programmatic committees as assigned.
• Participate in the EMS Advisory Committee.
• Advise students as assigned.
• Participate in college and programmatic accreditation activities.
