Job summary

All American Ambulance and Transport is seeking an EMT for Forest Hill, MD. The role involves operating an emergency vehicle, providing inter-facility transfers, and delivering non-emergency medical care en route to destinations.

The ideal candidate will be MIEMSS-registered, NREMT nationally certified, and possess CPR/BLS and EVOC credentials, with the ability to lead a small EMS team when necessary.

Qualifications

• Currently registered as an EMT by the Maryland Institute for Emergency Medical Services Systems (MIEMSS)
• Current certification in CPR – Basic Life Support by the American Heart Association (AHA) or the American Red Cross.
• EVOC certification with appropriate experience

Responsibilities

• Operates Emergency Vehicle within company guidelines while transporting patients.
• Responds to select medical non-emergencies along with responding to select hospitals, clinics, and nursing homes to provide inter-facility transfers.
• Provides non-emergency medical care en route to or from the hospital and during transportation from facility-to-facility or residence.
• Performs basic life support procedures, based upon certification level.
• Acts as a team leader in patient care situations and directs other EMS personnel when needed.
