Community Health Network is seeking an EMS Educator to join its team in Indianapolis, Indiana. As an EMS Educator you will plan, develop, implement and evaluate educational programs for EMS personnel. You will provide educational support for community outreach programs as appropriate and support the orientation for new EMS employees while working closely with the EMS Supervisor and Emergency Department Leadership in managing day‑to‑day departmental functions.
The EMS Educator manages clinical contacts and clinical records for EMS classes and in‑services. This position provides coverage on ambulances as required by the EMS Coordinator. The EMS Educator utilizes performance improvement principles to evaluate educational needs and interventions on an ongoing basis.
This position develops and coordinates a basic EMT educational program preparing students for the Indiana EMT exam. The role requires work on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9:00am–5:00pm weekly. You will work with the EMS team at Community East. The role works 32 hours every 2‑week pay period and is a part‑time, non‑benefited position.
