Job summary

Allina Health is seeking a Learning and Development professional to deliver education across clinical services within Minnesota. The role covers assessment, planning, design, delivery and consultation to meet department requests and regulatory standards.

You will educate staff, travel to sites as needed, prepare materials and provide learner feedback. A background in EMS education or nursing is preferred, and an associate or vocational degree is required on hire.

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience in learning and development
• 2+ years experience in EMS clinical care
• Associate's or Vocational degree required upon hire or 10 years working in 911 environment (degree requirement waived)

Responsibilities

• Education Delivery: Delivers training to staff and community groups, applying adult learning principles in classroom and scenario-based settings (indoors and outdoors).
• Education Planning and Design: Assesses learning needs and designs action plans for department initiatives and revises curriculum based on standards.
• Class and Logistics Management: Manages class logistics, including documentation and equipment maintenance and ensures compliance with all required documentation and standards.
