Job summary

Capital Health is seeking an EMS Clinical Educator to plan, coordinate and present education in Emergency Cardiovascular Care and EMS. The educator will develop curricula meeting current medical standards and regulations while ensuring materials stay updated and culturally inclusive.

Responsibilities include mentoring instructors, coordinating classes, and supporting hospital system initiatives and community events.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent; Paramedic, or RN required.
• Experience: Five years' clinical experience and three years' experience as an educator in healthcare related field.

Responsibilities

• Plans, coordinates and presents programs to meet learning needs of Capital Health and community.
• Develops new curricula adhering to current standards of care and maintains updated educational materials.
• Demonstrates flexibility to provide courses at varied sites and schedules to accommodate customers.
• Prepares documentation for classes and notifies students of changes in time or location.
• Mentors new instructors and serves as Training Center Faculty for various programs.
