Job summary

UCLA Center for Prehospital Care at UCLA seeks an EMS Program Faculty member to lead EMT Hybrid and Accelerated Education. You will deliver high-quality classroom, lab, and scenario-based instruction and support student success within one of the nation’s leading EMS education programs.

The role involves on-site instructional duties, occasional evenings/weekends, and collaboration with faculty and administrative staff to promote program excellence.

Qualifications

• Experience in EMS education and a commitment to excellence in EMS education.

Responsibilities

• Deliver classroom teaching, skills instruction and assessment, academic coaching, remediation, curriculum development, learner evaluation, and participation in educational research and program improvement.
• Collaborate with faculty, medical directors, and administrative staff to ensure program excellence and support outreach activities that promote the EMT program.
• Be available on-site as required by instructional needs, including occasional evenings and weekends; assignment between Hybrid and Accelerated course formats may vary based on program needs.
