Qualifications

• Review and audit patient care reports for completeness and accuracy.
• Ensure documentation supports medical necessity and payer requirements.
• Identify missing or inaccurate documentation and coordinate corrections.
• Reconcile PCRs with CAD records and other docs to confirm transports.
• Maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA and privacy rules.

Responsibilities

• Review patient care reports for completeness, accuracy, and compliance.
• Audit PCRs to ensure medical necessity, reimbursement requirements, and standards.
• Verify all required documentation is present before billing submission.
• Identify missing or inaccurate documentation and coordinate corrective action.
• Reconcile PCRs against CAD records to verify transports.
• Ensure compliance with policies, protocols, and regulations.
