Allegiance Mobile Health in Pasadena, TX is seeking experienced Dispatchers (SSCII) to manage emergency and non-emergency transport requests. You will use a CAD system to track units, route patients, and ensure timely, safe transportation while maintaining clear communication with facilities and customers.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or equivalent.
• Emergency Medical Dispatch Certificate and CPR required or obtained within six months.
• Knowledge of Medical Terminology.
• Bilingual preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Correctly receives and processes emergency 911 and non-emergency requests for ambulance/EMA.
• Utilizes CAD system to monitor, update and control unit locations and movements.
• Receives requests for pre-scheduled/non-emergency transportation.
• Obtains and provides mapping and routing information to units.
• Assists customers in selecting appropriate vehicle based on patient needs.
• Ensures destination facility can accommodate patient transport method.
• Maintains communication with customers and facilities about delays or changes.
• Provides excellent customer service and solves problems to ensure positive experiences.
• Educates customers about insurance coverage and costs for ambulance transportation.
• Collaborates with team members to handle challenging situations for seamless transport.
• Delivers information to general public and healthcare facilities.
