Job Description

The EMS Technician Level II is a mid-level technician responsible for performing certified DOT inspections, preventative maintenance, light repairs, diagnostics, and emergency roadside service. The role requires creative problem-solving, self-management, and adherence to safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities
  • Perform adjustments and repairs on truck equipment, including electrical, brake, cooling systems, engines, transmissions, and more.
  • Participate in safety training and maintain safety protocols.
  • Document work using company standards and proprietary applications.
  • Communicate effectively with management and team members.
  • Manage parts inventory and equipment, and evaluate technical information.
  • Work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage schedules.
  • Diagnose and repair vehicle malfunctions using test instruments.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma/GED with 3 years’ experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Own a set of hand tools necessary for the job.
  • Must pass DOT background screening and physical; valid DOT medical card preferred.
  • At least 21 years old with a valid driver’s license and a clean MVR.
