Job Title: EMS Technician Level II

Shift: Friday - Sunday, 12 pm - 12 am (paid for 40 hours)

Location: Set work location at an Amazon lot

Job Overview

Fleet Services by Cox Automotive (FSCA) is hiring an EMS Technician Level II. This mid-level technician will perform certified DOT inspections, preventative maintenance, light repairs, diagnostics, and emergency roadside services. The role requires problem-solving skills, self-management, and adherence to safety and procedural standards.

Responsibilities
  1. Perform minor adjustments and repairs on various truck systems including electrical, brakes, cooling, engine electronics, and transmissions.
  2. Participate in safety training and maintain compliance with safety protocols.
  3. Document work using company devices and software, including uploading pictures and completing repair orders.
  4. Communicate effectively with management and team members via email, phone, and Microsoft Office tools.
  5. Ensure all work complies with safety, health, environmental policies, and federal regulations such as OSHA, EPA, and DOT.
  6. Manage parts inventory and perform periodic reconciliation.
  7. Diagnose, adjust, and repair truck equipment, and evaluate technical information.
  8. Prioritize tasks and manage own schedule independently.
  9. Work with clients to assess needs, provide assistance, and resolve issues.
  10. Follow company policies, procedures, and safety practices.
  11. Perform inspections, tests, and listen to equipment to diagnose malfunctions.
Requirements
  1. High School Diploma/GED with 3 years' related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  2. Own set of hand tools necessary for the job.
  3. Ability to pass DOT background screening and physical; valid DOT medical card required.
  4. Must be at least 21 years old with a valid driver’s license and safe driving record.

Hourly pay ranges from $31.54 to $47.31, with potential for additional incentives.
