Job description

Job Title: EMS Technician Level II

Shift: Friday - Sunday, 12 pm - 12 am, paid for 40 hours.

Location: Set work location at an Amazon lot.

Responsibilities:
  1. Perform certified DOT inspections, Preventative Maintenance, and light repairs on trucks and trailers.
  2. Conduct diagnostics and repairs on electrical, hydraulic, electrical, and electronic systems.
  3. Manage parts inventory and document all work accurately using company systems.
  4. Ensure compliance with safety and environmental policies, including OSHA, EPA, and DOT regulations.
  5. Communicate effectively with management, team members, and customers.
  6. Perform scheduled and emergency roadside services.
  7. Participate in safety training and maintain up-to-date safety protocols.
  8. Diagnose and repair various truck systems, including engines, transmissions, and brakes.
  9. Manage work priorities and schedule independently.
  10. Provide excellent customer service and assess customer needs.
Minimum Requirements:
  1. High School Diploma/GED and 3 years' experience in a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  2. Possess necessary hand tools for the job.
  3. Pass DOT pre-employment background screening and physical exam.
  4. Valid driver’s license and a clean 3-year MVR review.
  5. At least 21 years old due to interstate commerce regulations.
  6. Ability to work flexible hours and in emergency situations.
