Job description

Job Description: EMS Technician Level II

Fleet Services by Cox Automotive, headquartered in Indianapolis, is seeking an EMS Technician Level II to perform certified DOT inspections, preventative maintenance, light repairs, and diagnostics on trucks and trailers. The role involves working at an Amazon lot, with shifts from Friday to Sunday, 12 pm to 12 am, paid for 40 hours.

Responsibilities include:

  1. Perform minor adjustments and repairs on various truck systems including electrical, brake, cooling, engine electronics, and more.
  2. Document work using company standards and upload pictures via proprietary applications.
  3. Communicate effectively with management and team members using Microsoft Office and other tools.
  4. Ensure compliance with safety, health, environmental policies, and federal regulations such as OSHA, EPA, and DOT.
  5. Manage parts inventory and manage own schedule independently.
  6. Diagnose and repair truck equipment, and discuss findings with customers and dispatch.
  7. Complete all documentation accurately and timely.

Minimum Requirements:

  1. High School Diploma/GED with 3 years' related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  2. Possession of necessary hand tools.
  3. Ability to pass DOT physical and background screening.
  4. Valid driver's license and safe driving record.
  5. At least 21 years old.
