Compensation: Hourly rate: $31.54 - $47.31/hour. May include additional incentives.

Job Description

Shift: Friday - Sunday 12 pm - 12 am, paid for 40 hours.

Location: Set work location at an Amazon lot.

Qualifications: Proficiency in trailer work, body panels, floor decking, lighting, DOT inspections, air system, air brakes, general PM knowledge. Welding skills are a plus.

Responsibilities
  • Perform minor adjustments and repairs on truck equipment, including electrical, brake, cooling systems, engine electronics, power steering, engines, transmissions, clutches, differentials, etc.
  • Participate in safety training and adhere to safety protocols.
  • Document work and upload pictures using company devices and applications.
  • Communicate effectively with management and team members.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, health, environmental policies, and federal regulations.
  • Obtain parts from approved vendors.
  • Complete DOT forms and manage parts inventory.
  • Manage own schedule and prioritize tasks.
  • Diagnose and repair truck equipment, and discuss work with customers and dispatch.
Minimum Requirements
  • High School Diploma/GED and 3 years’ experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Possess necessary hand tools.
  • Pass DOT background screening and physical.
  • Valid driver’s license and safe driving record.
  • At least 21 years old due to interstate commerce regulations.
