Compensation: Hourly pay rate: $31.54 - $47.31/hour. May include additional incentives or commissions.

Job Description

Shift: Friday - Sunday, 12 pm - 12 am, paid for 40 hours.

Set work location at an Amazon lot

Qualifications: Proficiency in trailer work, body panels, floor decking, lighting, DOT inspections, air systems, air brakes, general PM knowledge. Welding skills are a plus.

The EMS Technician Level II performs certified DOT inspections, preventative maintenance, light repairs, diagnostics, and other duties. Requires problem-solving skills, self-management, decision-making, customer service, attention to detail, and flexibility in scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Perform minor adjustments and repairs on truck equipment including electrical, brake, cooling systems, engines, transmissions, etc.
• Participate in safety training and maintain safety protocols.
• Document work and upload pictures using company devices and software.
• Communicate effectively with management and team members.
• Comply with safety, health, environmental policies, and federal regulations.
• Manage parts inventory and equipment on the service truck.
• Diagnose and repair truck equipment, evaluate technical information.
• Prioritize tasks and manage own schedule.
• Work with clients to assess needs and resolve issues.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures.

Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED and 3 years’ experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Own set of hand tools.
• Successful completion of DOT background screening and physical.
• Valid driver’s license, at least 21 years old, and clean driving record.
