Mercy Health in Lima is seeking a Dispatcher – LACP to support ground and air critical services under the Director of Flight Operations. You will triage requests, enter data into CAD, and dispatch appropriate units.

Responsibilities include providing accurate information to callers, coordinating patient transport, maintaining records and billing paperwork, and following EMS protocols. Requires High School Diploma or GED; other licenses as listed.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience in Emergency Medical Systems or healthcare/public safety related field (preferred)
• 1 year of experience with Federal Aviation Regulations (FAR) 121 or 135 or helicopter air ambulance dispatching (preferred)
• EMT or Paramedic (preferred)

Responsabilités

• Receives requests for ground and/or air critical transport via telephone/radio and dispatches appropriate units.
• Triages requests and enters required information into the CAD system.
• Coordinates placement of patients at hospitals and tracks transport.
• Maintains professional communication with administration, transport teams, and hospital staff.
• Maintains records and billing documentation for patient transport and operation.
