Job summary

System Support is seeking a dedicated EMS Outreach & Education professional in Ohio. The role plans, schedules and coordinates all aspects of pre-hospital emergency care and conducts continuing education for pre-hospital care providers.

You will serve as a direct liaison between the hospital, EMS providers, and community agencies, assisting EMS medical directors with organizing/maintaining records for continuing education, recertification and drug licensing.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Ohio paramedic certification and/or Ohio RN licensure required.
• Minimum five years of clinical EMS experience.
• Experience with curriculum planning/education required.
• Able to obtain a commercial driver’s license and appropriate vehicle insurance.
• Experience with marketing is a plus.
• Current BLS/ACLS instructor status preferred.
• Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal skills are essential.

Baccalaureate degree preferred.Licensure/Certification: Certification to practice as a paramedic in the State of Ohio and/or licensure to practice as a registered nurse in the State of Ohio.Experience: Must have a minimum of five years of clinical experience in pre-hospital emergency medical services. Previous experience with curriculum planning/education required. Eligible to obtain a commercial drivers license and appropriate insurance for a commercial vehicle required. Previous employment as an EMS Coordinator preferred. Experience with marketing required.Skills/Other: Current provider of BLS, ACLS instructor status preferred. Requires superior verbal, written, and interpersonal skills. Desire knowledge of MS office: Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
