Job summary

EMS Management & Consultants, Inc. is hiring a Billing Specialist to maximize client reimbursement by accurately entering ambulance call reports (ACRs) into our billing software in line with client, company, and compliance standards.

You will process pending and rejected claims, provide feedback to Revenue Cycle Manager, and ensure timely client reporting while maintaining high levels of customer service and adherence to SLAs.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 1+ year healthcare office/clinical environment experience or equivalent.
• Ability to learn new software rapidly.
• Strong data entry accuracy and attention to detail.
• Knowledge of HIPAA, Medicare, Medicaid & insurance guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Enter data from ACRs into billing software per standards.
• Provide feedback to Revenue Cycle Manager on deficiencies/variances.
• Process pending and rejected claims accurately and promptly.
• Distribute front-end client reporting timely and accurately.
• Maintain strong internal customer service and cross-functional collaboration.
