Job summary

Bryan Health in Lincoln, Nebraska is seeking an Interface Analyst to analyze, design, test, implement, and support HL7 interfaces delivering EMR data to the Bryan Health community. This role includes developing interface specifications, ensuring data quality, and maintaining an interface library with mappings and test scripts.

Requirements include knowledge of HL7, experience with interface engines such as OpenLink or Ensemble, and Epic integration exposure.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of HL7 terminology and standards.
• Ability to understand data manipulation capabilities and perform data mapping.
• Experience with interface design, testing, and go-live support.
• Familiarity with HL7 messages (ADT, ORM, ORU, DFT, MDM, SIU, RDE, MFN).
• Experience with interface engines OpenLink and/or Ensemble preferred.

Responsibilities

• Communicates with team members to ensure interface functionality and workflow requirements are met.
• Serves as a point person for assigned interfaces and coordinates analysis calls.
• Develops interface specifications and mapping documents for HL7 fields.
• Performs testing/validation of interfaces and assists in troubleshooting.
• Maintains interface library and testing scripts.
• Prepares status reports to meet project requirements.
