Job summary

Myriad Genetics Inc. seeks an Interface Engineer (Implementation) for EMR integration to support electronic orders/results delivery. You will work on complex interoperability projects and lead efforts with clinics and providers, using HL7 specifications and Mirth to automate interfaces.

Responsibilities include technical leadership, documentation, and training for teammates, with a focus on secure, scalable integration across healthcare data systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Expert HL7 (V2.x, v3), FHIR (R4) and EDI X12 knowledge.
• Expert in Mirth including scripting and interface admin.
• Strong understanding of network protocols and secure interoperability.
• Intermediate SQL with complex joins for querying/reporting.
• Software engineering fundamentals for web/cloud apps.
• Ability to investigate and troubleshoot production issues across platforms.
• Python knowledge is a bonus.
• Exposure to ETL concepts and processes.
• Active Advanced Mirth Certification preferred.
• U.S. citizen or Green Card holder; US residence required.

Responsibilities

• Manage onboarding and continuing technical support for multiple projects to automate electronic orders and results.
• Assess new data sources and assist clients and PMs with scope and requirements.
• Lead development, testing and support for interoperability between Myriad and external clinics.
• Be familiar with core programming concepts, source control, and deployment processes.
• Serve as technical lead and advocate for best practices in interface implementations.
• Provide training and ongoing technical support to non-technical teammates.
• Use clear written and verbal communication for professional client conversations.
• Create detailed project documentation for hand-offs to support teams.
