Job summary

Aurora Community Services in Wisconsin is seeking compassionate caregivers to support adults with cognitive and mental health disabilities in residential group homes. The role offers flexible hours, paid training, and no experience required.

Earn $17 per hour with a $1.50 weekend differential. Responsibilities include community integration, meal planning, medication administration, self-care support, transportation, and following individual service plans.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old and pass background verification.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform required physical tasks.
• Communicate in basic English; read and write at a basic level; navigate the internet.

Responsibilities

• Seek out opportunities for community/social integration.
• Help consumers plan and prepare their choices of fun events and outings.
• Assisting with self-care - dressing, bathing or showering, brushing teeth, toileting, shaving.
• Medication Administration.
• Meal Preparation/Planning.
• Transportation of consumers.
• Follow individual service plans.
• Other duties as assigned.
