Job summary

Opportunity Foundation of Central Oregon is seeking an Employment Specialist to provide vocational support to adults with developmental disabilities and help place them in meaningful community employment. Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Social Services or related field preferred.
• Experience working with adults with disabilities or in employment rehabilitation preferred.
• Must be able to obtain Employment Outcomes Professional certificate.
• May require a flexible work schedule (weekends/evenings) and maintain confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Identify opportunities for career growth with employers and support both employer and employee.
• Motivate, direct, and exemplify outstanding verbal and written individual service skills.
• Coordinate with residential supports and families to ensure employment success.
• Record billable hours in workbook and maintain accurate documentation.
• Develop and implement productive weekly schedules for caseloads.
