CHI Friendship is hiring an Employment Specialist to coordinate services and advocate for the dreams and goals of people we support in a vocational setting. This role includes supervisory duties, staff scheduling, and flexibility in hours to meet the needs of those served.

Responsibilities include empowering individuals to pursue goals, implementing programs with QIDP guidance, documenting care plans, and facilitating community engagement, health needs, and safe living environments.

• Attend program training with the QIDP and implement OSP/PCSP programs.
• Document accurately in records and files.

• Learn about vocational and social interests of people supported.
• Help people stay connected with natural supports and participate in community activities.
• Maintain a valid driver’s license and vehicle access.
• Monitor monthly budgets and assist with department expenditures.
• Advocate for people to receive needed supports and services.
• Provide ongoing education and training to staff.
