Job summary

The Spring of Tampa Bay Inc. is seeking a DV/Child Welfare Advocate to assist survivors within Hillsborough County.

You will collaborate with CBC and CMO teams, provide crisis intervention, safety planning, and empowerment-based advocacy, and support families navigating open child welfare cases. Requirements include a bachelor’s degree in human services and at least two years in domestic violence, plus skills in court advocacy and referrals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in human services or related field preferred.
• Minimum of two years’ experience in domestic violence.
• Knowledge of FCADV standards and the IFP process.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Provide empowerment-based advocacy, safety planning, and crisis intervention.
• Educate survivors on options and accompany them to court.
• Coordinate with CBC/CMO staff and prepare reports.
• Maintain participant files per agency standards.
• Deliver trainings and community presentations.
