Easterseals Northern California is seeking a Direct Support Professional to work with adults with disabilities in a caring, supportive environment, helping clients develop skills, meet goals, and reach their full potential under the supervision of the Care Coordinator and Program Manager.

The role includes supervising activities, teaching life skills, planning program activities, assisting with transportation (21+), and documenting progress.

Qualifications

• Minimum education: High school diploma or GED.
• 21 years of age to operate company vehicles.
• One year experience in a team environment coaching/teaching adults with disabilities is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and train participants to perform tasks and activities.
• Assist participants in reinforcing life skills and new skills.
• Coach participants to stay on task and engage with family and community.
