Vanderheyden, Inc. is seeking staff to assist individuals in identifying and acquiring skills to live as independently as possible and maintain a safe, therapeutic environment.

You will provide direct care, administer medications per policy, and transport individuals as required, following individual treatment plans. You will participate in supervision, team meetings, and training opportunities while promoting cultural awareness and trauma-informed care within the agency.

Qualificações

• Proof of High School Diploma or GED.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean MVR.
• Medication certification within the provisional period.
• Ability to write legibly.
• Ability to communicate effectively with other disciplines and individuals served.

Responsabilidades

• Provide direct care to individuals per agency policy.
• Dispense medication per agency policy.
• Safely transport individuals as assigned.
• Assist with daily schedules, routines and life skills activities.
• Participate in treatment team or recommendations process.
• Assist in personal care of individuals and maintain appropriate boundaries.
• Complete logs and communications, and notify the Administrator on Duty as needed.
• Engage in supervision and staff development activities.
