Job summary

CorePower Yoga, LLC in San Diego seeks an instructor to deliver an exceptional studio experience. You will welcome students, guide CPY-aligned classes, and support individuals to live their power while upholding the CPY values.

You will teach at least two classes per week (minimum 4 hours in studio), maintain safety, assist with front desk duties, and contribute to a welcoming community. CPR/AED certification is required.

Qualifications

• 200-hour yoga teacher training with 50 hours CE (pre-2020) or an equivalent post-2020 format.
• Current CPR/AED certification required.
• High School diploma preferred.
• Excellent oral communication skills, professionalism, and strong interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lead students in physical activity for up to 1.5 hours.
• Must be able to move around the studio, crouch, bend, reach, and lift up to 25 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Teach a minimum of two CorePower Yoga classes per week for a minimum of 4 hours in studio.
• Provide a safe space and guide students with proper alignment and CPY cueing.
• Be in studio 30 minutes before and after each class for planning and community connection.
• Engage with students 30 minutes before and after class to support growth and community.
• Welcome students, check them in, handle POS, and ensure a memorable experience.
• Perform cleaning tasks to meet CPY cleanliness standards and safety protocols.
• Foster a supportive studio environment and uphold CPY values.
• Represent CPY initiatives and business streams as in-studio ambassador.
