Job summary

Eckerd Connects is seeking a Workforce Career Coach in New Albany, IN to support program participants with employment readiness, eligibility, and case management. You will coordinate services and document progress to meet program requirements and funding guidelines.

The role involves recruiting for the program, identifying job and education opportunities, and delivering skills training in software applications and work readiness. Strong community engagement with employers is essential.

Qualifications

• Proficient in MS Office and database tracking systems.
• Valid state driver's license and ability to drive for business purposes.
• Must pass a drug screen per policy.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary contact with participants and their circle of influence; ensure eligibility, participation, and follow-up services.
• Recruit for the program and identify employment/education opportunities for participants.
• Deliver skills training in software applications, work readiness, and basic remedial math and reading.
• Develop presentation and facilitation skills to engage students and meet program goals.
• Engage with employers and community organizations to market and enrich the program.
