Qualifications

• 6+ months of experience as a peer mentor or similar support role, or pursuing a related degree.
• Associate's degree or higher in autism studies, special education, psychology, social work, family studies, or a related field preferred.
• Knowledge of higher education strategies and autism/developmental disabilities helpful.

Responsibilities

• Meet assigned students weekly to review tasks, set goals, and connect with campus resources; develop executive functioning skills.
• Lead group study sessions, teach learning strategies, monitor progress, and provide student support.
• Complete documentation for meetings and participate in weekly team meetings to collaborate on student success.
