Responsibilities

• Conduct evaluations and assess home environment for speech-language needs.

• Administer speech therapy with specialized techniques or equipment.
• Recommend communication devices or aids as indicated.
• Participate in case conferences and staff trainings for coordinated care.
• Maintain clinical competency in speech-language pathology practice.
• Refer patients/families to other services as appropriate.
