Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
Teaching certification preferred.
Ability to adapt and respond to a dynamic educational environment.

Responsibilities

Work with a diverse group of students from varying backgrounds.
Teach knowledge and skills and provide individualized attention to meet student needs.
Use assessment data to modify short- and long-term instructional plans.
Develop and maintain skill-appropriate lesson plans.
Collaborate with team members to foster critical thinking and academic rigor.
Apply the school’s behavior support and intervention strategies.
Implement de-escalation techniques and safety procedures as needed to protect students and staff.
Drive, record, and track student growth toward goals and maintain required forms and files.
Participate in daily school functions, conferences, meetings, and training.
