Job summary

Amergis is seeking a Special Education Teacher to serve K–12 students in Massachusetts. Under the direction of the Special Education Program Administrator, you will provide quality services, collaborate with general education staff, and help plan and implement student programs including instruction, tutoring, and consultation.

Requirements include a Bachelor's Degree, valid state teaching certificate, and at least one year of teaching experience; endorsements such as LBS1 preferred.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university.
Valid state teaching certificate as required by state and district.
Minimum of one year teaching experience preferred.
Endorsement: Learning Behavior Specialist (LBS1) preferred.
CPR certification and health clearance as applicable.

Responsibilities

Plan and implement student programs in collaboration with staff.
Deliver special instruction and tutorial assistance.
Consult with general education staff to support inclusion.
