Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree with a major emphasis on Special Education.
• Appropriate valid Massachusetts license, K-12 teaching experience.
• Evidence of substantial experience in regular and/or special education settings.
• Commitment to diversity and closing the achievement gap.
• Mastery of pedagogical and subject matter skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver instruction and support services per IEP/504 plans.
• Directly coordinate with staff and evaluators for student assessments.
• Collaborate with Regular Education and Special Education teachers.
• Promote integration of students with special needs across classrooms.
• Participate in evaluation processes and TEAM meetings.
• Administer educational assessments for reviews and re-evaluations.
• Maintain required records and schedules for reviews.
