Job summary

TSP Ed Co is seeking a compassionate Special Education Teacher to join our team in Thornton, CO. You will support students in an inclusive classroom, building meaningful relationships and helping them reach academic, behavioral, social-emotional, and functional goals.

You will collaborate with families and school staff, implement individualized instruction aligned with IEPs, and contribute to student planning and progress while maintaining confidentiality and following district policies.

Qualifications

• Active Special Education credential/license for Colorado
• Bachelor's degree in Education or Special Education
• Experience with children/adolescents preferred
• Knowledge of IEPs, accommodations, modifications, and differentiated instruction
• Strong classroom management, communication, collaboration, and organizational skills

Responsibilities

• Developing individualized instruction based on students' IEP goals
• Providing specialized academic and behavioral support to students
• Creating engaging, differentiated lessons for diverse learning needs
• Monitoring progress toward individualized goals
• Implementing accommodations and modifications in the classroom
