Job summary

TSP Ed Co in Danbury, CT is seeking a compassionate Special Education Teacher to support students in a school setting. You will build meaningful relationships, create an inclusive learning environment, and help students reach academic, behavioral, social-emotional, and functional goals.

You will collaborate with school staff, families, and related service providers to deliver individualized instruction based on IEP goals, provide specialized support, and monitor progress while maintaining

Qualifications

CT teaching credential for Special Education.
Bachelor's degree in Education or related field.
Experience with IEPs and accommodations is preferred.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement individualized instruction based on students' IEP goals.
Provide specialized academic and behavioral support to students.
Create engaging, differentiated lessons that meet diverse learning needs.
Monitor and document student progress toward individualized goals.
Collaborate with general education staff, families, and related service providers.
Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to planning.
Support students' social-emotional, behavioral, and functional development.
Maintain confidential student records.
