Qualifications

• Must hold a current Michigan Teaching Certificate with relevant endorsements.
• Must possess a Bachelor’s degree required by the Michigan Department of Education.

Responsibilities

• Educates students by planning and developing course of study according to curriculum guidelines.
• Tailors course of study for various academic abilities.
• Develops lesson plans using various educational techniques.
• Monitors and assesses student performance through assignments and tests.
• Maintains order in the classroom and addresses behavioral issues.
• Counsels students with academic difficulties and keeps parents informed.
